VITREOUS
Privacy Policy

We don't collect your data. Full stop.

Vitreous is a free, open-source, local-first focus blocker. It runs entirely on your own computer. There is no Vitreous server, no account, and no sign-in — so there is nothing for us to collect.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. We have no servers, no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, no advertising, and no cookies.

Where your data lives

Your settings, block-lists, schedules, and reflections are stored only in a local file on your device. They never leave your computer and are never sent to us or to any third party.

Network activity

Vitreous works fully offline. The only outbound connections it makes are:

Browser extensions

The optional Vitreous browser helpers enforce blocking locally inside your browser. They do not collect browsing history or any personal data, and send nothing to us.

Open source

Vitreous is MIT-licensed and fully open source. You can verify all of the above by reading the code: github.com/subhasisbiswal012/Vitreous.
